church of Laak Kleine Heresteeg, Laak 12th century and subsequent

The chancel, made of sandstone and limestone blocks, is the oldest part dating from the 12th century. 

The Gothic tower dates from around 1500 and the central nave dates back to the 17th century.

The cemetery wall is also protected and dates back to 1767.

A particularity:

The small cemetery remained in use until the mid-1950s. 

The church was given a new use as a museum church, especially for exhibitions and chamber music.
